It's been a while, too long, since I have updated here, but one has to take care of important things first. So, that's what I have been doing. Actually I have not been doing much, except enjoying being at home, having my man around these holidays. We decided not to go anywhere this winter, and it turned out to be very enjoyable, very relaxing. You never get to relax when you go somewhere, at least that is how it seems to me. One day we went out to a museum. One night the whole family went for a moonlit walk in the snowy pastures. What fun! We've played games of Settlers. We've enjoyed sitting in the living room with a crackling fire in the stove, listening to Daddy read us some Bible or Little House on the Prairie.Enjoy the photos I have added of what is happening around here these days.

This is a scene I expect will repeat itself many times in the coming years. Big sister trying to help with baking cookies, big brother licking his fingers, and little brother sticking his spoon into the batter and licking away. Happy baking to me!
