There were lots of school groups. For those not familiar with Belize schools, all school children here are required to use uniform dress. I think that is so neat!

It's Independance day
Twenty-nine years ago Belize became a country. That's younger than I am! Anyway, I came to Belmopan today to watch the parade. Jessica and Joseph stayed the night at Auntie Linda's so they could watch the fireworks last night at 12:00. (Daniel celebrated this day by plowing his field for planting beans.)
